Umbilical buoyancy devices are used to maintain the desired length and shape of the umbilical underwater while preventing excessive bending. They are widely used in a variety of offshore, commercial, military, and marine applications.
Umbilical buoyancy design features
The umbilical buoyancy device series features a polyethylene outer shell filled with a high-performance polyurethane synthetic foam core.
Three connection methods: hinge, lock, and bolt-on.
Type 316 stainless steel hardware: Corrosion-resistant, with titanium or composite hardware available depending on application requirements.
Symmetrical design: Quick installation or replacement, saving time and labor.
Built-in polyurethane elastomer liner: Interchangeable built-in grommet sizes can be adjusted to accommodate armored cables or umbilicals of varying diameters.
